While the majority of her performances are live variety and comedy shows, she has appeared in many underground independent films throughout the 2000s such as Nighthawks' Cafe and Go South for Animal Index. At that time, she also maintained multiple literary columns in print media such as Cosmopolitan, Prevention, Alive, Beacon, Riverfront Times, and Intermission Magazines.

Suzanne Roussin, sometimes mistakenly credited as "Susan Rusan", Suzan Russian, and other similar names, has spent the first part of the 2020s as a lecturer/public speaker, disability activist, storyteller, and writer/creator of educational topics such as pedagogy and auto-didacticism.

She divides her time between St. Louis, MO and touring the U.S..
