Kimberly Atkinson is an Atlanta-based actor, producer, and co-founder of PATH(TM)/PGST(TM), whose nearly 30-year career spans television, film, stage, and voiceover. A graduate of the University of Washington's Professional Actor Training Program (MFA) with dual BAs in Journalism and Theatre, Atkinson has built a career defined by depth, versatility, and authenticity. Her television credits include For The People (Shondaland/ABC), Criminal Minds (CBS), True Blood (HBO), and NCIS (CBS), along with national commercial and voiceover campaigns for FOX, TNT, the NFL.
Rooted in socially conscious and community-based theater, Atkinson's creative path evolved into independent film production with a focus on stories that place women and people of color at their center. As a founding partner of PATH Films, she develops and produces character-driven projects that champion diverse casting, empower female producers, and explore the intersection of identity, power, and transformation-including the dark comedy-thriller Cult Classic! and other works in development.
Through her work as Managing Partner of Greg Sims PATH(TM) (Power Audition Technique Honing) and PGST(TM) (Practical Goal Setting Technique), Atkinson continues to mentor actors in building sustainable, purpose-driven careers while championing storytelling that reflects real human complexity, resilience, and joy.
