Jason Alan Staines

Jason Staines has been enjoying his time as a supporting artist (SA) since 2021. He was born in Barking, Essex and moved to Edinburgh when he was 20 Years old. He is a Director of his own roofing company, alongside his business partner. He is married and has two grown up daughters. Being self-employed allows him to be fully flexibility around his SA work. In 2010 he joined the Edinburgh Kevock choir as a first tenor and has enjoyed performing with them in their annual concerts and in some amazing venues in and around Edinburgh, raising money for worthwhile charities. When he's not up on roofs or singing with the choir he attends weekly Pilates classes, enjoys keeping fit and socialising with friends and family. Over the next few years, He would love to gradually spend less time on roofs and more time acting. He has thoroughly enjoyed every production he's been lucky to be in whether it be a game show, a film, a drama or a soap. He's been in over 30 productions and landed some featured roles and recently dialogue on camera. He is very excited to continue his role as an SA and he's very much looking forward to having the opportunity to appear in many more productions, hopefully with more featured roles.
