        His debut acting role was as Jamie Miller in Netflix series Adolescence (2025). BAFTA award winning actor Stephen Graham was so impressed at his first audition, that he turned to co-writer Jack Thorne when Cooper left the room and said 'I think that's him'. The acting skills he learned only came from attending The Drama Mob theatre group once a week, which was co-founded by Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien.
