Robert Sahakyants was born on 30 August 1950 in Baku, USSR [now Azerbaijan]. He was a director and writer, known for Yellow SubmarYAN (2002), Lesson (1987) and Three Blue-Blue Lakes of Crimson Color (1981). He died on 24 September 2009 in Yerevan, Armenia.
