Racheal Cain earned her BFA in Film Production at Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts. Her debut feature screenplay 'Somnium' won First Place in the Los Angeles Screenplay Competition before being shortlisted for the Breaking Through the Lens Initiative at Cannes in 2020. 'Somnium' premiered at the Chattanooga Film Festival in 2024 where it won the Audience Award, along with the Silver Audience Award at Brooklyn Horror Film Festival and Best Actress in a Feature Film at FilmQuest. The film was purchased by Yellow Veil Pictures in early 2025.
