Steven began his career at 16, working on films such as Four Weddings and A Funeral, and Television like Lovejoy and has worked with acclaimed actors Julian Sands, Colon Baker (Doctor Who), Julian Glover, Patsy Kensit, Helen Lederer, Toyah Willcox, Mark Wingett, Vicki Michelle, Christopher Ellison.
He produced his first feature film Time of Her Life that screened at Cannes in 2005 and went on to produce features Haunted (Ghosts), Haunted 2, Haunted 3, Haunted 4, Haunted 5, Hooligans At War: North Vs. South and I Am Hooligan.
He wrote and directed Essex Boys: Law Of Survival. He was an Associate Producer on the award winning My Feral Heart.
He has since produced Invasion Earth, Remember Me, and Whisper, The Howling, The Doll Master, Borstal. He wrote and directed The Haunting Of Borley Rectory (Which won Best Thriller and the National Film Awards 2021), Alfred The Doll, Doll House and Dead Again (which has had over 25 million YouTube views worldwide). In 2024 Remember Me 2: Forget Me Not.
In 2025 he wrote and directed Sweeney Todd: Slice & Dice and has just completed Borley Rectory: The Awakening. Also releasing in 2025 is Simon Says and Simon Says 2. In 2026 Nightmare Hospital.
