Radek Bruna has been a member of the Filmka Stunt Team Czech Republic since 1999. He joined the team as an accomplished athlete, a black belt in karate, former Czech Republic champion, and champion of the former Czechoslovak Federative Republic.
He soon began focusing intensively on police and military tactics, weapons handling, and other specialized skills. These experiences eventually led him to establish a professional division, the Filmka Tactical Department, which was created based on his personal experience working on the film Black Hawk Down, where he performed as a stuntman and also portrayed a small acting role as sniper Clark.
To elevate this field to a truly professional level, he systematically expanded his expertise. He completed numerous courses in tactics, shooting, rescue operations, helicopter fast roping, diving, and other disciplines closely connected to the production of action sequences. He later applied this knowledge directly to film and television projects.
Today, the Tactical Department consists of a well coordinated team of professionals who combine deep specialization with the skills of qualified stunt performers. This unique combination allows the team to create authentic, precise, and safe action scenes tailored to the specific needs of each production.
Radek Bruna began his career as a stunt performer in 1999 and has been working as a stunt coordinator since 2014. In this role, he draws on extensive hands on experience as well as specialized training in tactics, firearms, rescue procedures, acting, and various martial arts.
As a stunt coordinator, he works within the Filmka Stunt Team, led by Ladislav and Robin Lahoda, which provides stunt performers, doubles, and actors for film and television projects. An essential part of his work also involves coordinating Filmkas specialized departments, including rigging, water, horse, and tactical units, enabling the team to fully meet the personnel, technical, and logistical needs of productions.
Thanks to his acting training, Radek is able to understand the needs of actors and stunt performers preparing for demanding roles. He helps them safely prepare for physically and technically challenging scenes, both during rehearsals and on set.
Safety is always his top priority.
