Tarneé Kendell Hudson is from Richmond, Virginia and started her professional career at the Apollo Theatre. Early theatrical acting credits include: The Story of the Bible (The Queen of Sheba), King Arthur (Lady Guinevere), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), and Sugar (Olga). During undergrad, she performed with the improv comedy troop, Instant Theatre: Just Add Water and later worked with Blaise Miller as Joyce in One for all or Nothing. Other acting experiences include: HBO/Playtone John Adams (2007), Oddstruck (2015), The Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods (5th Wall Theater), The Boy from Oz (Richmond Triangle Players), Macbeth (The Quill Theatre), We Three Lizas (Richmond Triangle Players), The Drowsy Chaperone (Swift Creek Mill), Bare: A Pop Opera (Richmond Triangle Players), Night Blooms (Virginia Repertory Theatre), To Whom it May Concern (Acts of Faith Festival), and This Beautiful City (Richmond Triangle Players), and various national and regional commercials. Performance recognitions include: World Championships of Performing Arts gold, silver, and bronze medalist (vocal, theatre, modeling), RTCC Best supporting Actress in a Musical Nominee - This Beautiful City, People's Choice Award - This Beautiful City, RTCC Best Musical - bare: A pop opera, RTCC Best Musical Nominee - The Drowsy Chaperone and The Boy from Oz.
