Richard was an extra on "What's Happening!!" in numerous episodes for all three seasons, but he was credited in only two for a speaking role: One where he speaks a line in a history class, and in another, his character moaned since he had a full body cast on in a hospital.
In various other episodes, he played a hoodlum in a police station, a co-worker at Raj's supermarket who votes for the union, many times a customer at Rob's Place, Raj and Rerun's classmate, and a patron at a talent show. In one episode, where Roger poses nude for an art class directly before he has to interview for a job at a newspaper, Richard is featured as a student in the class, and an applicant in the newspaper office waiting room.
