Qumaru Nisa is a filmmaker, photographer and activist, known for We Are One (2014), Shameless (2013), and Death and Taxis (2007). Qumaru, started her career in 2002 as one of the creators of Tinseltown TV. A TV show bringing audiences the best in film premieres, celebrity interviews, behind the scenes exclusives, music events, fashion shows and celebrity parties across the globe.
Qumaru's latest produced feature documentary "We Are One" is narrated by Forest Whitaker and features Jimmy Carter and Monika Gandhi among others. She is also a co-producer, DP and editor on "OUTrageous", a docu-reality series that tells real life stories of people in the LBGTQ community and their allies, showing on Amazon Prime.
