Yevgeniy Kartashov

Yevgeniy Kartashov is an athletically built actor known for his commanding presence, versatility across drama, action , crime genres and magnetic screen charisma. A longtime resident of Los Angeles, he pursued his education at Santa Monica College and Pasadena City College before honing his craft at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Yevgeniy Kartashov has appeared in major network and cable television series, including CSI: Miami, American Horror Story, True Detective, The Rookie: Feds, and Gang Related. His ability to embody complex, often morally ambiguous characters has made him a standout in both supporting and lead roles. Trained in martial arts and sword fighting, Yevgeniy often performs his own fight choreography, bringing authenticity to action roles. Known for doing his own fight choreography and fully immersing into his characters, he brings a high level of professionalism and dedication to every project. Yevgeniy made his breakout television appearance on CSI: Miami, where he played the gritty and complex role of Peter Morenko, a gangster and boxing club owner, opposite David Caruso. Fluent in both English and Russian, he brings a dynamic international appeal to his work, performing across Hollywood, Canada, and Europe. Based in Los Angeles, Yevgeniy continues to build a diverse and compelling body of work in both film and television.
