Mark Cuban is saying goodbye to “Shark Tank” ahead of his final episode on the ABC reality show. He has been a full-time shark on the business series since 2012 after joining as a guest investor in 2011.

“My last ‘Shark Tank’ is this Friday. Gonna miss it. But it was time to move on,” Cuban posted on X.

The Dallas Mavericks owner first announced he would be leaving the long-running ABC show in 2023. The entrepreneur’s plan had always been to leave the series after Season 16, which comes to an end on Friday.

Dafoe was an associate producer of the documentary “Babenco: Tell Me When I Die” (2019), which Paz directed as an ode to her late husband, Argentine-Brazilian filmmaker Hector Babenco and which represented Brazil at the 93rd Academy Awards.

The Bondsman’s resurrection was short-lived, it turns out: Prime Video has cancelled the Kevin Bacon-led supernatural series after one season, TVLine has confirmed. (Our sister site Deadline first reported the news.)

Bacon starred as Hub Halloran, a bounty hunter who was murdered on the job and then was brought back to life so he could hunt down demons who have escaped hell and bring them back to the fiery depths. Season 1 debuted on Prime Video on April 3 with all eight episodes.

Ryan Seacrest stopped by his old job, Live, to talk about Wheel of Fortune and American Idol, but the host also discussed another topic — his dating life. His answer as to why he doesn’t think he will ever get married shocked host Mark Consuelos. “You did it! The American Film Institute (AFI) is calling in the top TV writers and showrunners to mentor its impressive recent grads of the AFI Conservatory Screenwriting Fellows program. IndieWire can announce that the 2025 Writers’ Room Ready incubator will include teams from “Hacks,” “Mad Men,” “Mayor of Kingstown,” and “The Girl from Plainville,” plus mega-producer Coco Francini, who recently founded the Proof of Concept Accelerator program with producing partner Cate Blanchett.

The AFI Writers’ Room Ready pairs established, leading creatives with AFI Conservatory Screenwriting Fellows to work on original television pilot scripts. “Hacks” writers Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, and Jen Statsky, as well as icon Matthew Weiner are among the mentors. There’s been a lot of renewed interest in Noah Wyle lately. It makes sense, following his command (and likely award-winning) performance on “The Pitt,” but appearances on Jimmy Kimmel and Jennifer Hudson, as well as unhinged fancams, have made it seem like Wyle-fever may be sweeping the nation (perhaps a good subplot for Season 2).

To be fair, it’s all well-deserved and Wyle has been an excellent steward of the series. Moreover, he’s spent most of his career highlighting the vital importance of emergency medicine and the doctors who perform it; a mitzvah in and of itself. But in translating the realities of this space, Wyle has brought another beautiful aspect to the fore of all that “Pitt” talk: a platform to showcase young talent.

Miss Austen comes to a close in a two-part finale airing back-to-back this Sunday, May 18, on PBS. The Masterpiece adaptation of the novel of the same name tells the story of what led Cassandra Austen to burn the letters of her sister, beloved author Jane Austen — an act that has left Cassy often painted as a villain in history books. But the true “soulmate” relationship between these two sisters, as star Keeley Hawes describes it to TV Insider, is at the root of everything in this tale, and Hawes says the central conflict of the show’s present-day timeline is going to reach a surprisingly “gentle” conclusion. Set many years after the death of Jane, Miss Austen shows Hawes as Cassandra, a woman who never married out of a commitment to her fiancé who tragically died before they could wed and to her sister, the closest relationship of her life.

Bart Simpsons’ best friend is changing. Well, sort of. Millhouse Van Houten, who has been Bart’s best friend since Season 1, is getting a new voice actor just in time for the finale of Season 36. The character was voiced by Pamela Hayden for 35 years on The Simpsons, but she has since retired, so singer Kelly Macleod will step into the role. Hayden also voiced The Simpsons‘ next-door neighbor Rod (and sometimes Todd) Flanders, Chief Wigum’s wife, Sarah, Lisa Simpson’s friend, Janey Powell, and bully Jimbo Jones. Ernie Hudson has joined “Boston Blue,” CBS’ upcoming spinoff of “Blue Bloods,” as a series regular.

The series stars Donnie Wahlberg as his “Blue Bloods” character, detective Danny Reagan, who moves to Boston and is partnered with detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.
