Ok western
Slow moving but OK account of Red Cloud's War 1866-68
Red Cloud was the only major Indian leader who really won a war against the US Army. The peace treaty did not last long thanks to white treachery, greed for gold, Custer's thirst for glory, etc.
an insult to the historical record
Misleading title, disappointing battle

- TriviaWilliam Castle used battle footage from Last of the Comanches (1953) in this film.
- GoofsIn this film it is stated that no one possessed a trapdoor rifle and the rifle will be introduced by the army as a new rifle. But in the scene around 54 minutes at the war-dance you can clearly see that more Indian's are loading trapdoor Springfield rifles.
