Saying that it's not a bad B western which has Tyler walking into a jackpot as he arrives minutes after Forrest Taylor shoots rancher Lafe McKee and cleans out his safe. He's caught at the ranch house by McKee's daughter Jeanne Martel in real life Mrs. Tom Tyler and Taylor who slips some of the holdup money in Tyler's back pocket. One neat little frame.
Max Terhune was the only ventriloquist riding the range I thought until seeing Theodore Lorch in this film. On the way to McKee's ranch he stops and visits with Lorch at his medicine show wagon. Lorch and his talent save Tyler's bacon on a couple of occasions until justice prevails. He also steals the picture.
This is not a bad product from poverty row Hollywood.
