Nick is annoying
The road is a tough place for womanizing musician Nick Hannon (Brent David Fraser). His father Ted (J. T. Walsh) gives him a corporate job which he reluctantly takes. His stepmom Kelly (Pamela Gidley) gains the attention of creepy Bobby Lomax (Dwight Yoakam) and she enjoys the attention. After Ted's death, Nick inherits half of the business but he has to work there for two years. If he fails, his uncle Paul (D. W. Moffett) inherits his share.
Well, Nick is annoying. Ultimately, I don't care about anything happening to him. Gidley does a fine femme fatale but her finale is bad. The reveals should be more shocking but nothing in this is that compelling. This would work better if Nick has a more charismatic actor.

Some intrigue but ultimately lacklustre
A unoriginal crime-thriller. Plot is fairly generic and instantly recognisable. There is some intrigue and mystery re the crime side but that's about the extent of the positives.
An adequate thriller of its era
Another of the endless wave of erotic thrillers that filled rental shelves in the nineties. This one's a torrid little affair featuring four principle characters, all of them linked by femme fatale Pamela Gibney. The biggest draw in the cast is J. T. Walsh who gives one of his usual edgy, volatile performances that burns up the screen and reminds us of what a strong talent he was. The film is let down by dated direction, although some of the crane shots are quite nice, which means that all of the big events in the plot pass by without much notice. The numerous sex scenes are typical of their kind and feature an obvious body doubles which is a little distracting, while the other cast members aside from Walsh are merely adequate.
Cinematic Fabio novel
"The Little Death" is probably the most forgettable film of all time, but in Belgium the title occasionally rings a bell because the movie was directed by Jan Verheyen. Verheyen is a commercial journeyman that basically does about anything for a quick buck, but he does so in such an honest, almost shameless way that you have to respect his perseverance. As a business man he's a genius, but as a filmmaker he completely lacks the skill to pull of this Hollywood project he somehow talked himself into. "The Little Death" is written, directed and photographed like a made for TV-movie, it's a curious collage of weird scene transitions, unerotic sex scenes, predictable twists and nonsensical dialogues topped off with a real "huh?" of an ending. It's tough to find things in "The Little Death" that you can enjoy non-ironically, but I guess it can be appreciated if you think of those trashy novels you can buy at supermarkets. There's no merit to them, they were probably slapped together in a weekend, but they still have a certain appeal you can't put your finger on. It's the sleaze of it all I guess, throughout this movie you constantly have the sound of a wah-wah pedal in your head. The appeal doesn't make the movie any good, but I can't hate a movie that I sat through so easily.
good movie + decent performance..... Bit bad ending.
Typical 90s erotic thriller movie, Plot is now new, because there are several 90s movie about same story theme about Mysterious woman married to rich guy.
anyhow the movie is not that boring, and it gets more exiting later until after half of it starting getting bored and off track in LAW trial , But then suddenly the movie gets very twisted and surprised turned which makes movie damn good. The only problem of this movie is ENDING. its way to rushed or sudden ending which is very unsatisfied when focusing more than an hour that what would happen later.
Anyhow, the another thing is , its an EROTIC movie but it really lacks nudity and sex scenes. wish there would be more.
