After a few years of Dallas withdrawal, I was very happy to see the group get together again. It seems that a few years away from the show didn't hurt anybody's ability to get back into character. It was also great to finally end up knowing that J.R. didn't shoot himself after all. Or was it just a dream?

Excellent. Great to see J.R. up to his old tricks.

This made for television movie was produced in 1996 and aired to very high ratings. The premise of this movie was the return of JR Ewing after a five year absence from Dallas after his fallout from the events of the last and final episode of the epic series that concluded in 1991.

JR returns to Dallas with a plan that will allow him to regain his cherished company, Ewing oil who's now in control of his life long nemesis Cliff Barnes and reunite his family back to South Fork.

The film shows the return of many of the original cast members minus a few, yet those characters are made reference to in the film.

This film ties together all the loose ends of its final episode that aired in 1991.

I really enjoyed this film because JR is up to his old tricks of manipulations and scheming that we all have grown to love.
