A downshift for the series
While the new characters in this season are *mostly* good, this series is a downgrade compared to the previous season (Zeo). Theres not as much as an ongoing plot as in the past couple of seasons and I wasn't a huge fan of the zords in this season either. Not a great season, but not a terrible one either.
OK but Carranger had better storyline
This Power Ranger series was weaker compared to Zeo. Although the footage from Carranger was used Turbo had a different storyline. This show picks up were the American movie Turbo left off. A space pirate named Divatox plots revenge against the Turbo Rangers for defeating Maligore, A demon who she planned to marry. Basically Divatox not only sends out monsters she also likes to use explosive on a constant basis.
This PR series had a lack of plot with the exception of some good stories but Carrangers had the overall better storyline. Also while Carrangers had to great climax, this one had a cliffhanger which would go into the next PR series, 'Power Rangers In Space.' At least PR In Space would finally get into the kind of stories that Sentai done for years.

Power Rangers Shifts Into Subpar Stories And Controversial Cast Changes
The third series of the Power Rangers franchise (and the fifth season overall), Power Rangers Turbo is seen by the fan base as one of the worst. Set after the events of Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, the evil Divatox is back, and along with Elgar, Rynox, and new villain Porto, she returns to Earth to get revenge on the Power Rangers for ruining her plans to marry Maligore so she can the universe by his side.
In the three-part premiere, Zordon and Alpha 5 leave for Eltar, and the rangers get new help from Alpha 6, who talks in a New York accent and has a different catchphase, and Dimetria, a wise woman from the planet Inquiris, who at the start, answers the Rangers' questions with more questions (and Divatox's sister, as some believe), but as the series goes on, she does become more of the traditional mentor. While I like Alpha 6 for having more of an attitude, Dimitria I never liked at first, as she always spoke in questions, but in the second half, she would stop it and act more like a traditional mentor, redeeming her somewhat.
Being set after Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, Justin returns to be Rocky's replacement (as Steve Cardenas, who played the character, decided to leave the show, with some saying he wanted to focus on his martial arts career). In the second half, all but Justin get replaced in what is called the worst episode ever. There were many rumors as to why this happened, with some sources claiming it was because of a change in creative staff, while others claim it was because the Screen Actors Guild approached the actors to try and get them to join the guild, meaning Saban would have to pay them more money. Regardless of the reason, it would start the second half, which would fix the problems of the first.
The series is mediocre at best. The series did have episodes with good morals (one episode, Built For Speed, had the Rangers stop two teens drag racing), but sadly, there are episodes that serve as nothing more than comedic filler (like Trouble By The Slice, an episode infamous for having Divatox working in a pizza place, and making a monster that tried to bake the rangers into a giant pizza). Adapted from Gekisou Sentai Carranger, a season that was more lighthearted to the point where it was considered as Super Sentai making a "parody" of itself, Turbo did a so-so job adapting it into Power Rangers lore (especially with the action).

Despite some of it's weaker episodes, I liked the finale, at least
Overall, I liked how it started out in the first two episodes of the follow-up to MMPR and PRZ along with new characters taking the role as the red, green, yellow, and pink ranger, but some of the other episodes' story lines were quite weaker, but not completely unwatchable and some of the dialog is quite atrocious. The villain was OK, but nothing special especially when Divatox can sometimes can be a bit annoying. Aside from it's flaws, though, I like some of the main characters along with the sidekicks as well thanks to it's perfect acting. The fight sequences are amazing, but I think that the megazord sequences steal the show along with the two-part finale. I know some of you are going to hate me for this, but I think that PRT is a pretty decent follow-up. Not excellent, but I've seen much worse shows.
They killed it!
This series destroyed my liking of Power Rangers! I know that the movie for this was nothing short of terrible, but why drill it into the ground and make an even more terrible series out of it?
Let's start with the "zords" first of all: they're frigging' cars! There's nothing more to do... well I stand corrected with all the other PR series at least.
Secondly, the villain: you could've done better than a space pirate that does nothing but scream. Terrible acting, bad fight scenes, bad monster names... I could go on and on... but I won't.
