your name doesn't have to be Earl to see Jaime topless
Well I watched and reviewed the first two films in this series, so I figured what the hell, I'll just finish the trilogy up. Jaime Pressly stars as Violent, a teenage vixen who feeling betrayed that her mother (who was also this family's maid) was fired for having an affair with the father , a decade or so later decides to move in with the family who 'wronged' her mom and proceeds to use her best asset, her body, to get revenge. Is this film good in a conventional sense? Nope. Artistically? Haha not at all. In fact the only true reason to see this is Jaime Pressley herself, who ups the T7A quotient exponentially.
Eye Candy: Athena Massey gets topless once; Jaime Pressly shows hers multiple times and her ass once.
My Grade: C
Where i saw it: Thriller Max

One of my favourite films.
Okay, so it's not the most cinematically perfect film ever made but I think people can lose the point of watching movies these days. I like thought-provoking, or striking films as much as the next guy but there are some times you just want entertainment and the Poison Ivy films do that. I liked the first, didn't really go for the second but am happy with The New Seduction. Jaime Pressly looks fabulous and the plot is a bit contrived but heck, there have been a lot of far more stupid ideas that have cost ten times as much and featured A-list stars. It's good, honest, down to earth entertainment, but probably not a good date movie. You'll learn to love it.
Hot, Sticky, And Deadly...
POISON IVY: THE NEW SEDUCTION is the third film in the lascivious "series". While it isn't anything Earthshaking, it's not bad at all. It's certainly an improvement over the dullness of the second movie.
Violet (Jaime Pressly) is a psychopath who gleefully goes about ruining as well as taking lives. Her natural heat burns up all in her path, leaving only cinders behind. In a word, she's H-O-T!
The plot is somewhat similar to the first movie, with Violet moving in with an old friend. She soon takes over the family through lies, sensuality, and multiple homicides. Violet is far more cunning and cold than Ivy ever was. This leads to more deceptions and a higher body count.
Recommended for fans of erotic thrillers that live up to their billing...

Beautifull surroundings makes this film a blast
Jaime Pressly a beautful talented actress portrays an awful character for the first time, she plays it good, but i rather her as the good girl.
Decent sex scenes, Beautiful surroundings and young talented actors is the ingredients this film needed to survive, the plot stunk and so did the ending. So in closing the only thing stopping this film from a total flop was Jaime Pressly.

A good 90's sexy thriller, 2 stars for the movie, 3 for J.P, 1 for Merete Van Kamp for the 2 mins she was on screen.
What do you say? The series just keeps getting better, watched them all as they came out in my 20's and we had an explosion of girls we grew up watching on tv becoming women, first Drew, then Alyssa and finally Jaime, well Jaime just came out of nowhere I think. All of them did justice to P. I. they were all very good looking and passed the sexy factor to pull the movie off hyping up the old men. The plots were always silly and fairly predictable, Violet goes way past the other 2 in showing skin, Pressly was not afraid to drop her garments back then before Earl, it's an 8 out of 10 just for Jaime alone lol, gotta love these old 90's cheap sex thrillers lol. Thrills, chills and a bit cable soft porn. Not as good as Wild Things, Basic Instinct, Cruel Intentions or that big budget type, but went all out on sets, backgrounds and scenery, cast was unknown but good. This one has Megan C Edwards as Joy and Shanna Moakler the Playboy Playmate to add to the mix of up and comers. Meghan did Tracing Cowboys, an independent film that was highly lauded for it's haunting theme and landscapes, just watching it now lol.
