Ziddi is definitely one of Sunny Deol's best action movies ever! It is also one of the ultimate action movies of Bollywood. Sunny shines with a brilliant performance (one of his best ever). The stubbornness against baddies, raw energy and emotion, tons of raw action, and revenge theme with twists. Only Sunny Deol could pull this one off as the explosive action hero with the Dharmendra Power. This is easily one of Sunny Deol's best performances! Personally, this is my all-time favorite Sunny Deol action movie of the 90's. This nonstop action bonanza was a runaway hit, thanks to Sunny Deol, who is just brilliant in all action scenes, which are explosive! Everyone else did well, but the movie belongs to Sunny Deol. The Guddu-Sunny team has made other decent films like Salaakhen in '98 and Shaheed and Jaal in '02 and Big Brother in '07, but Ziddi remains their best film to date. Recommended for Hindi action movie buffs. This movie is just terrific, and the best thing about it is its repeat value; you could watch this umpteen times and still NOT get bored with it! The action scenes are some of the best ever, and I would definitely give this one a 15/10! Ziddi definitely matches up well to Ghayal (1990).

Well, some films turn vintage while some are faded by time, especially the ones with a weak story depending on its technicalities to attract the viewers. This holds true to "Ziddi" which was a big hit for Sunny Deol in the 90s, known for its action, but not for its story or other aspects.

The film focuses on the crimes and corruption in a city for which the hero takes law in his hand against his family. The film was known for its action, especially the ones with the cars blown, which might feel obsolete by now but for its era it was an achievement. Other aspects are technically okay but the story is average and don't linger much in your mind. Overall, it's an overlong and hackneyed to watch it at present; but still it's a time pass movie to recall your 90s memories. Even if not very genuine, there are some hit songs, emotions, suspense, and few typecast roles which you'll enjoy it still.

Ziddi is a good action thriller directed by guddu dhanoa. Performances are convincing. Ashish vidyarthi excels in his role. Action, music, direction is good. But the main aspect of the film is the tight script. Each scene, each sequence, each dialogue, each character is well connected. There's a reason clearly visible behind each happening of the film. Ziddi was a turning point in the history of hindi cinema where script was the protagonist. Actors were more important than stars. These was clearly visible in ziddi. After ziddi there were various movies which focussed on story rather than stars.

Sunny has always shown such a real action and cinema in his all movies except the one he released later in 2007. And Guddu dhanoa knows how to bring that potential of him on screen. Ravens Tandon rocks as always and she is really looking hot to fall for. I have watched this probably 6 to 7 times never looks old
