Why anyone would bill it as a Christmas movie is beyond me. It's just a fun and silly farce about three guys trying to snag one or more rich wives. The actors are reasonably well matched to the characters that they play, and there is the usual assortment of hijinks.
This movie was the worst Christmas film I've ever seen. Totally inappropriate for any family viewing. Cheap exploitation and crude humor does not make a film! Grotesque "Sweaterpuppets" and dirty old scotsmen grabbing and yanking on something under another man's kilt is truly awful for a evening "family" movie. Needless to say Fox really blew this one.

Its no blockbuster, but it gave me that satisfying feeling when it ended. A light movie for a lonely Saturday night. Some nice jokes in it, a really beautiful beach. Acting isn't as bad as some of the reviewers stated. I admit, some of the lines are cheesy and yeah, the movie is quite predictable, even though i haven't seen the original, but overall i liked it anyway. Considering its a TV movie, it deserves a high rating in its category. I'd give a 10/10 to Gabrielle Anwar - awesome acting and she looks stunning as always!
The title isn't as attractive as the movie itself and i think the movie is underrated. If you've got some time to spare and this on the TV next, go for it. Recommended!

I only started watching this because of the West Wing connection (i.e. Joshua Malina was given second billing) but it was much better than I'd expected from reading the blurb. I found it to be a funny, well-written (if somewhat cliched) piece with strong performances all round, and a cute poodle. It reminded me a lot of "Scrubs" and is certainly worth higher than a lousy 4.4 you guys! (The same score, incidentally as "Legally Blond 2" - Please!)
Cute but it was slow paced. I did enjoy it but my tastes are much different from your average movie critic. I like these cute, sappy movies myself. I almost turned it off because of the slow pace but I made it to the end.
