Cribs

This is an iconic show that gives viewers a glimpse into the personal domain of famous entertainers. We've all heard about maps to the homes of the stars where you can look at the outside of the security gate of your favorite stars. MTV walks you in through the front door whilst well known entertainers give you the tour of their cribs. Rappers always have "Scarface" playing on their big screen tv. And oftentimes our stars open their fridges to reveal their favorite refrigerated nosh. This show is a true star voyeur's delight. Peeking at a private Xanadu is delightful cause my crib is a utilitarian 70s vet shack that ain't impressing anyone. Is it wrong to marvel and nod approvingly at the sybaritic excesses of our favorite stars? Flip the channel if your Puritan values could be offended. Stay tuned if your ready for a good time.

It's interesting and fun. Theres not much more to it than that. I don't see why people rate it so low and I find it hilarious when people whine that celebrities are flaunting wealth others will never have.

There is something neat about seeing inside your favorite peoples houses.

*Cribs*

Cribs is another show on Music TV(aka MTV) that has nothing to do with music. Except sometimes they show you musician's homes. But that's ok because it is above average compared to the rest of MTV's shows. It's just a show that shows us the inside of celebrities homes.

Once they devoted a whole episode to Mariah Carrey's large penthouse. It was great but it made me realize Mariah is really crazy. But she's so rich her house makes her look sane almost. Her closet was the size of my room (maybe bigger). And she had a whole room devoted to her shoes.

Sometimes Cribs is quite entertaining. Sometimes the houses are so beautiful (like Mariah's). Sometimes the celebities houses are just scary (Marilyn Manson & Rob Zombie come to mind). But if you're interesting in the inside of the rich and famous's homes than you'll love Cribs.

i wish there were more releases like this. Its awesome to see the wealth and opportunity that is available for us as people living on this world. in regards to the last comment, i more see it as "this is what i have... and this is the level that you could be". i find it inspiring, as well as interesting to see what successful and forward-thinking people enjoy as a lifestyle. to watch it and say "this is what i'll never have" goes against the point of any entertainment, and is indicative of the personality of a negative and never-to-be-successful viewer. i happen to love seeing into the lives of people who have done well for themselves.

A depressing show to make people feel bad for what they don't have and for those that have it to become selfish, materialistic worshipers.

This by far could be the worse show ever because it shows rich people rubbing it in and it conditions people to think "if I don't have a big as house i'm nothing".

Verdict: I never cared about celebrities.
