I always wanted to be like Oliver Tsubasa

Oliver has always been my idol since I was little. It was thanks to him that I learned how to make up shots. However, this series is not very realistic. A game takes almost four episodes and they take a long time to go from goal to goal. They also have superhuman abilities like "Falcon Shot" and "The Infernal Catapult". Even so is one of the best animes I've ever seen.

    My childhood in an anime

I will try to be as unbiased as possible as title suggests so I will list down arguments below:

Pros: -Soundtrack is beautiful and bring tears to my eyes to this day -Story is captivating and well thought out -Characters are very real and voice actors are perfection

Cons: -Too much clutter between games, unnecessary wait time between goals -Ending during a climax seems cruel given I wanted to see what happens after in same timeline -All animes follow different story, very annoying

Overall one of the best animes I've ever seen as I associate it strongly with my childhood, even removing the emotional aspect this is still highly recommended as a must see anime, especially if you're a fan of the 90s.

    many childhood memories

"Captain Tsubasa J" is a nostalgic journey back to the world of soccer that had many of us hooked in our youth. While the acting and characters bring back fond memories, there's room for improvement in the overall execution. The film editing could have been crisper, and the pacing occasionally drags, but it doesn't detract from the essence of the series. The music is upbeat and fitting, adding a layer of excitement to the matches. The strength of the show lies in its ability to instill a love for the sport and a message of perseverance. Although the cinematography isn't groundbreaking, it effectively showcases the thrill of soccer matches. With a 6/10 rating, "Captain Tsubasa J" is a solid revisit to the world of soccer, offering nostalgia and a decent dose of entertainment, though it may not reach the level of modern anime standards.

J : The EMOTIONAL side the Captain Tsubasa anime franchise.

Although the plot development is the same as seen in the original series. In Captain Tsubasa J it is narrated from a very emotional point of view and full of extra details that add to this version of the series an even greater richness than that of the original series. A point of criticism is the variation in the quality of the drawings. The animations of this series (Captain Tsubasa J) are very much based on the first Captain Tsubasa video games. Using even sound effects taken from them.

The series makes already emotional moments of the original series go to a new level of storytelling, managing to move viewers (example: death of the Furano coach, the story of Jun Misugi, etc.)
