    Terrible Plots; Nasty Scenes

This show's plots...They're mindless...That's still not the worst part...It's the grotesque puke that's animated that'll make you want to puke your guts out, and you're not afraid to either as anyone in the room that merely glances at the screen with this show on will already begin to puke!

There's so much puke in this show that it'll make a kid with any kind of stomach ache, no matter how bad, feel better just after 1 episode! It's filled with snot bubbles, inhumanly sickly skin tones, boogers being slowly wiped on you straight from the babies themselves, and poop being smeared on the screen!

If you have a stomach ache and want to feel better, watch this show. Then, quickly turn it off so it doesn't return. If you're not sick, then don't watch this show. This show isn't entertainment. It's grotesque bodily fluids that come out of who WANTS to know where! It's gross, mindless, and by no means good entertainment. Skip it.

This is disturbing, vile and provoking learned helplessness

This is not a show for children. It can traumatize them for the rest of their lives. I bet they have trypophobia in the show. I'm happy that I didn't watched it as a child because I would scream and have Nightmares for years

    Just rubbish

I remember watching this Canadian cartoon when I was 10 and I thought it was good but it's actually terrible. It's also disgusting and it uses a lot of toilet humour based on snot, vomit, faeces, flatulence, drool, veins popping out of muscular parts, and various other bodily fluids coming from the cast. It's just vile.

It was broadcast on Sky 1 (now Sky Showcase) in the early 2000s.

I hope you're not going to watch this while eating or it'll make you puke!

Nobody ever wants watch this rubbish on telly

DON'T buy it on DVD or Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I hope Sony Pictures Home Entertainment are not going to announce this awful cartoon to be released on DVD or Blu-ray.

This cartoon is distributed and owned by Sony Pictures Television.

I am never watching it again ever.

    Mega lame

That lowest possible rating (and to be honest in my mind 'Mega Babies' deserves lower) and the most negative review this reviewer has given in like three years is not being said with pleasure. Have always aimed to be encouraging and generous writing reviews and the lowest possible rating here is very rarely given by me these days and am a massive fan of animation. It even took a lot for me to hate anything as a child, but this and 'Angela Anaconda' were the only two shows that did absolutely nothing for me as a child.

'Mega Babies' to me deserves everything bad that has been said about it and actually manages to be worse now than it did through child eyes. There are very few animated shows that this reviewer would consider abominable, but 'Mega Babies' is one of those. There is very good reason as to why it lasted 52 episodes and quite frankly it is actually surprising that it even lasted that long, considering how quickly it got truly, truly obnoxious. There is a cheaper version of 'Rugrats' (a near-classic) mixed with 'Breadwinners' (another terrible show), but calling 'Mega Babies' that is being generous.

First and foremost, the animation is at no time of appealing quality. There is no colour vibrancy, everything just looks flat and garish, editing is not tight enough and is often dizzying, the backgrounds lack imagination or smoothness, almost always looking static. The character designs fare the worst, some of the ugliest easily of any animated show (with heads too big for their bodies, which in themselves are ridiculously and jarringly out of proportion) and they just look rough and animated with little care.

The music has very little memorable about it, it's loud lazy, and often over-obvious and not particularly well-placed (too random) complete with an instantly forgettable theme tune that annoys rather than charms.

One of the biggest problems is that it is not well written at all, that's being generous, and it is just not funny. It's very crude, random and weirdly absurdist, but also like those shows executes it very poorly, going well overboard with the toilet humor that are more cheap and childish, often disgusting even, than funny. This viewer has no problem with this type of humor, but here it constantly felt lazy and like it was trying too hard.

Which made every obnoxiously cheesy and witless line of dialogue, puns that a vast majority of the time were so lazily obvious and lacking in taste it was groan-worthy and every increasingly predictable sight gag even more forced and contrived. It also depends whether any weirdness has a reason for being weird, but it came over very randomly more often than not and increasing in tastelessness.

Moreover, the target audience is constantly in question, because the constantly chaotic feel will see kids finding it too hard to take, and that it's embarrassingly juvenile and lacks any kind of edge or smart writing will irritate adults. The story lines, when they are ever distinguishable (the overload of bad puns, butt jokes and toilet humour too often completely override the story), are also heavy in contrivance, randomness and predictability. Also incredibly light in emotional resonance, fun or sense to the point all three are practically non-existent.

Complete with constantly uneven pacing, with some episodes in serious need of more breathing time and others feeling lazy as a result of the comic timing not being as sharp as it could have been. The characters are all extremely irritating, even Nurse Lazlo though she is not as grating as the Mega Babies themselves. The voice acting is ear bleeding.

Summing up, absolutely terrible. 1/10 (an extremely rare rating these days)

    Absolutely revolting....

This is the most disgusting animated program I have ever seen. It does even come close to being funny. I don't know who in their right mind would ever think a bunch of babies running around throwing boogers and feces at each other is humorous. I don't even think a three year old child would enjoy this. Do yourself a favour, even if you are dying of boredom, and there's nothing else to watch on TV but infomercials, DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW!
