Very entertaining TV movie
This film is an enjoyable, easy-to-follow mystery drama. It revolves around Celeste (Shannen Doherty), a beautiful young woman who moves out to a nice new flat after breaking up with her somewhat aggressive boyfriend. Shortly afterwards, she'll begin to be harassed by a stalker who's apparently watching and following her.
The plot is not complicated but it isn't quite as predictable as one might think, and the story moves on without any major complications. It does get repetitive in the middle part, as it becomes a dangerous cat-and-mouse game between Celeste and her stalker, in her efforts to chase him down by herself; however, it never gets boring and it kept my interest until the ending. The acting is good and the movie, while not being complex, is very entertaining and set in very chic environments. Definitely an above average TV movie. Shannen Doherty's fans must see it too.

One of the best TV movies in recent years!
I saw this film last night on Lifetime under the title "View Of Terror." I thought it was great! Shannen is amazing here, she really delivers in this role! This movie has so many twists, and it will keep you guessing until the end, at least it kept me guessing until the end! I would have never guessed in a million years what was going to happen! The film also seemed to have a good budget, and looked a lot better that regular TV-fare! I WILL watch it again if I ever see it on, and I wish it would be released on DVD. Sure, there are a VERY FEW things that, if changed, would make it better, but it is great! Do not think twice before watching this wonderful movie! You won't regret it!
Better than the average Life Time Network Movie
Okay, who ever said that Shannen Doherty is only a television movie actress was wrong when they said that, but they were even more wrong when they said that the movies she made were bad. Sure television movies are kind of tacky, but this one was an exception. Shannen Doherty portrays Celeste, a resturante owner who moves to a posh New York apartment and immediatly falls prey to a stalker. As usual, Shannen Donherty gives a powerhouse performance and the rest of the cast is equally fine. The music keeps you on the edge while suprisingly good camera work draws your emotions in. Set in a standard tone, this film does not let up, but what would you expect from a Shannendo film!
An enjoyable archetypical thriller...
While this 2003 movie from director Louis Bélanger might not be overly known, it actually turned out to be an enjoyable movie.
And yes, it has Shannen Doherty in the lead role, but she definitely is much more than stuck in the Brenda Walsh role from the "Beverly Hill 90210" TV show. Sure, she might not make major blockbusters, but she actually is enjoyable to watch in movie. And while the movies she appears in might not always be super great, this 2003 movie was actually quite good.
The storyline is straightforward and has a nice archetypical feel to it, in terms of how stalker movies go. I might actually dare to say that it felt like watching a thriller from the height of the 90s. Take that as you will.
I was definitely adequately entertained by the events that took place throughout the story told in "View of Terror". However, this is hardly a movie that you will watch more than once.
While there isn't an abundance of familiar actors or actresses on the cast list, it should be said that the acting performances put on throughout the course of the movie by the various performers were actually good.
My rating of "View of Terror" is a five out of ten stars.

"Someone's Watching Me (1978)" rip off
I watched this movie because I wanted to see Shannen Doherty, but when I saw it, I found this movie is very similar with "Someone's Watching Me (1978)", almost exactly the same, I already knew what's gonna happen next and next..., so I really disappointed, I didn't get any thrills at all. I don't know if this movie is an official remake or not, but if it's not, then this is a total rip-off. There's only two differences that makes this movie different from "Someone Watching Me (1978)", first, this movie is happened in modern time, so the stalker uses hidden camera now (not just sound transmission device), and oh, the stalking is done by different character, that's the only (small) thing that made me surprised at the end of movie.
Actually because of that, I wanted to give this movie a 1 star, but since I'm Shannen Doherty fans I decide to give 5 stars (yes I know I have pretty shallow reason to rate, but there it is).
