In the season finale, an angry Raimundo turns to the dark side and joins forces with Wuya.

Omi is now aligned with Chase.The other young monks don't know what to think of this new friendship.Then they discover that the choice was not Omi's.By passing into the Ying Yang world, part of Omi was left behind--the good part.The young monks blame themselves for pushing Omi so hard and realize that they must save him.

Omi uses time travel to stop Hannibal before he can turn Chase to evil.But in doing so, he changes the course of history and turns the world upside down.When he returns to his time, Chase is on the side of good, but Master Monk Guan is now on the side of evil, accompanied by Hannibal and Wuya.The Xiaolin monks have lost their Temple and have been forced to hide in the woods.

Chase now rules the world, with Omi (imprisoned in the body of a Jungle Cat) at his side.Jack, who's now on the side of good, cheers Kimiko, Raimundo and Clay to help free his old friend.But they've got bigger problems.They soon discover that when they left the Ying Yang world, they were not alone.The Chi Creature followed them out and is determined to recover the Chi that was taken.The Xiaolin Apprentices are promoted to Wudai Warriors.

Wuya's ruling the world, Omi's trapped in the distant past, and Clay, Kimiko and Raimundo are working with Jack Spicer.What else could go wrong?

Time is drawing near for Master Fung to determine which monk will be the leader.Master Fung assigns each a quest to complete.But part of the quest is for them to pick their own quests from which a leader will rise.Not to be outdone, Omi secretly takes on the greatest quest of all. He's going to use time travel to travel into the past and stop Hannibal before he can turn Chase to the dark side.

Jack and Katnappe compete to become Chase Young's apprentice.When Katnappe wins, Jack is so disheartened that he considers giving up evil for good.Omi seizes the opportunity to turn Jack around and prove that he really was destined for good, only to have his optimism used against him.
