    Cute Little Show

I love this show. It is very colorful with simplified characters which is easier for kids to perceive. By far the best and most recognizable things about Peep and the Big Wide World is the amazing music and the voice acting. Joan Cusack has a lovely voice and narrates perfectly and along with her, Jamie Watson who does the voice for Quack is OUTSTANDING. He gives so much personality to this sassy little duck and it fits perfectly. The voices for chirp and peep and the others are also great for their roles and the adventures they all go through are fun to watch and I like the real life anecdotes and experiments as well.

    Love this show!

As many parents know, toddlers and preschoolers want to do things over and over and over again! That includes watching their favorite TV programs. As a result, I've seen most of the Peep episodes at least 3 times each with my daughter (2 1/2).

She loves this show and I do, too. I like the science aspect of it. That is unique to children's programming for this age, I think.

And as the other mother said in an earlier review, I OFTEN laugh out loud. Especially at "Quack". His sarcastic, self-centered personality is just so funny!!

A good show for kids of all ages. Highly recommended. :-)

What a great show for children and parents!

We all love "Peep!" My daughter got a "Peep" DVD set for her 2nd birthday two weeks ago, and we have literally been watching it ever since then. She loves it, and my Husband and I find the show very entertaining. The show is educational, of course, but has enough humor in it that everyone can enjoy it...it succeeds at entertaining all ages, a rare thing, indeed!

The simple animation and bright colors of "Peep" appeal to young children while the plots convey simple scientific principles that will enrich their minds. The animated segments are supplemented by real-life sequences which employ the scientific facts imparted in the cartoon. These live sequences will give children and parents some great ideas for trying out their own scientific experiments.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend this program highly enough. As Quack might say, this is a fine specimen of television programming! Enjoy!

    Wonderfully amusing and fun show!!

My daughter and I love to watch Peep together. It is so amusing, informative and well written. I am a little embarrassed to admit that I often find myself laughing out loud at the antics of Peep, Chirp and Quack. The narration by Joan Cusack is delightful. I am glad the opportunity to introduce my toddler to the wonderful talents of one of my favorite actresses.

The live action sequences dealing with science and nature have given us lots of ideas for fun outside play that keeps my daughter's interest.

The shows on Discovery Kids really are wonderful and Peep is a great addition.

    Great show for kids

Of the little TV I'll indulge my daughter in, this is probably our favourite. In fact, if I turn the TV on, she often asks for this show specifically.

My daughter is three and there is no shortage of crap television aimed at teaching her morality and safe play and etc etc (yawn.) Note to children's programmers: Don't teach my kids this stuff. That's my job. Your job is to entertain us.

And Peep does just that. Like a young child Peep is naive and every show is about her finding something banal (like snow or sand) for the very first time and showing us all how fascinating it can be.

What more can I ask for my three year old? This show is AWESOME.
