Piece of Art..Ahead of its time. Art & commercial touch

I request each of you to watch it. Available on Zee5 app. The movie is very sensitive abt a man ,which reveals his dark side in positive deed. Devil with great clean heart . His frustration & intensity as the society, his family, friends does not help him to fulfil his dream . His relation with his love is beautifully picturised.... Looks like eash pinch of the movie is a piece of Art. Two songs are melodious. Jaan leva is the only song where you could see a man being objectified in Bollywood wow wat a song. Mohobbat hai is picturised with full of natural subtile... Worth watch song. Concept is ahead of its time if released today this movie would have got it's worth... That Era was of romantic story types movies. Today content, picturization is important. Arjun Rampal shd hv spoken abt his movie at least now. He is so true to his role, I never felt him to be anything else rather being the character . Must watch movie.

    Experimental In Format

This is a movie with a generic plot but the format is what sets it apart. It's more like an artist reimagining a classic or a chef adding a new touch to an old recipe. It's tepid if you go by the storyline but the format which includes the cinematography, color tone and theatrical treatment was experimental as by no means the makers felt it would be a blockbuster. Watch it if you want to enjoy the making of a movie more than the movie alone. That said, the acting is pretty good all round except the actor playing Manisha's friend. Songs were catchy when they came out but lost their appeal over time, even though the picturization is again loaded with symbolism. An effort worth it's while overall if you are a movie buff.

Moksha shows us what Rampal's capable of!

Arjun Rampal, "the unlucky guy" as I do refer to him as for all his films bomb at the Box Office... but why is he so under rated as an actor? Moksha came during the beginning of his career and trust me, if you like Rampal or you hate Rampal, if you're a serious film-watcher, watch Moksha... and it will all change.

The guy, literally carries the movie and gives the best performance till date. The music is tremendous... Jaanleva is still a favorite till date... The action scenes are well executed...

The direction is superb. Moksha is not for the typical Indian Audience who would only like the Johar flicks but if you've like those good movies like Rang De Basanti, Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan, Swades or Lakshya for that sake, you'll love Moksha. Moksha literally takes us for a ride into the character, Vikram Sehgal's mind... Rampal makes you believe that he IS Vikram Sehgal.

The movie shows every aspect of his character right from his concern for the poor, his hatred against the system, his dilemma and his guilt...

I cannot reveal the story but all I gotta say is that if Rampal gets the right movies and the right Director, he got potential even if his movies do bomb at the B.O.... here's looking forward to Don...

very slow because....that's what the script demands

one of the finest movie with a motive and thought was applied... for the first time i felt how difficult it is for a poor man to survive and how they are being exploited. Director has done a wonderful job but the USP of the movie is Arjun Rampal... I feel he should do more films like Moksh instead of doing all second lead crap...He is a smart guy and a potential actor with a very manly voice. He must do more of this kind of movies. Black and white scenes are amazingly done and worth watching on big screen. Most of people complained that it was too slow but i feel that's what the story demands that you understand each and every moment of the hardship our hero is going through. One of the best in it's class i was completely satisfied

It's not always easy to animate our dream

What worked: This movie was a pleasant surprise to me. One of the distinct quality of the movie is the cinematography, which is very dominant aspect of the movie. The screenplay and the concept was great and well done. As a mental health professional, I was impressed by the portrayal of an unstable character with mental health issue in this fashion, and it was done with total honesty by Arjun. It's a well executed, engaging movie, and I loved how the vulnerability, duality of the main character is portrayed. I loved the use of shades and colors in the narrative What did not work: I would take out songs at any cost considering they are disturbing the narrative rather than enhancing them, but also considering the beautiful visual aspect. Final verdict: recommended
