The low budget "Los cronocrímenes", a.k.a. "Timecrimes", is another movie awfully overrated in IMDb. My wife and I were misguided by the IMDb User Rating (7.2) and have spent the evening watching this terrible and boring film. The plot is repetitive and unpleasant and there is no character development and no explanation for the mysterious time machine or the clumsy operator. My vote is two.

Title (Brazil): "Crimes Temporais" ("Temporal Crimes")

I found this movie to be one of the stupidest movies i've ever seen. It is decently shot, light, acted, made, I think it's plot is intresting and at the same time difficult to understand and explain, development of the story is just ridiculous, main character doing things that you go - why, what? If you think about the whole concept of it you would go crazy. The question is can this movie get any more stupid? And the answer is - How?

I went back in time to tell me not to waste my time watching this. I should have listened.

This movie is a prime example of a good story line that was very poorly executed. Characters did things for no good reason other than to force an artificial flow into the next scene. The over-dubbed English voices sounded contrived, like people reading scripts for a radio drama instead of reading for a movie/TV scene.

The budget for the movie was about $2.6. I don't know where the money was spent, but it wasn't spent on the movie.

The bicycle chick was the best part of the entire movie. Without her, I would have given a rating of 1. However, I would not watch the movie for that reason.

I love time travel films, but after an interesting start, it fell apart quickly and became boring and repetitive. And it doesn't help that there's literally just 4 actors in the entire film. I managed to watch to the end but only halfheartedly after the first hour. Time travel films usually have me riveted with my full attention. Not this one though. Watch if you must...but you'll want a time machine afterwards to get those 90 minutes back.

I am attracted to time travel movies. Many of them, like this one are really dumb. Paradoxes are not easy and can get quite messy. This one is almost as stupid as 'Time Loop.' 2 stars for Barbara Goenaga.

It was slow, boring, storyline eas weak. At the end nothing was explained, the main character repeated his mistakes over and over again, that was silly and low budget. Nothing special about this movie. Why it has such a high rating i don't know... just wasted my time expecting something good when there is nothing good at all. Such a shame.

At least it is here in this movie. The amount of poor character choices and explanations only bungle the viewer. As with all time travel movies the premise and setup is key and here we just have a convenient lab next door to a family house in the woods. After that things pretty much get off the rails fast.

Most of these movies have to be reviewed and edited over and over in order to verify everything makes sense. As another reviewer said, it has to "work". And like he said, this one just doesn't.

Rather than give away spoilers, and point out plot holes and missteps as others have I'll just summarize here. It thinks it's a cool movie and it is mostly nonsense. Skip this one. Decent try but at the end it just falls apart and the viewer is left with tons of questions. Poor 2/10.

This movie is absolutely crap. Actors are just reading dialogs instead of real acting and plot is quite naive. This is a bunch of crap from crappy actors.

The story is very predictable and cheap. I don't know how people are rating so high this movie.

I think there are many Spanish movies better than this to watch. And to remake; however, I realize Hollywood is trying to make a new version of this.

Most probably doing it even worst.

Don't waste your time watching this movie.
