    I loved this film

I saw this film at the 2005 Woodstock Film Festival and I loved it! It was my impression that everyone in the audience at this screening was highly impressed. I found it fresh and innovative, as well as very sweet. It was consistently engaging, and when it was over, I wanted to see more. It was also genuinely very romantic. The acting was excellent. The actors were attractive in a real way. It was refreshing to see diverse and down-to-earth characters with great depth. It is an unusual film, but one that I think would appeal to a wide audience. I wish there were more movies like this one, and I hope that Anthony Ng will have the opportunity to share more of his talent with us.

Remember getting butterflies in your stomach?

It's absolutely beautiful. I caught this movie at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and it is just as touching as it is sweet! One of the very few worth-while movies I have seen in a long time.

212 is directed by a very talented Anthony Ng who not only has an admirable attentiveness to detail but also a unique understanding of human behavior. It is practically impossible not to relate to a character and/or a situation reflected in this film.

If anything, I just wish the Vincent & Lana story line (though heart wrenching and captivating) was a little more developed, it was at those times the movie felt a little slow. But the Seth/Viv story is adorable and hilarious, and the Antonio/Ama story is charming and sweet.

All in all, I need to own this film.

    Wow

This is one of the BEST romantic comedies I have seen in quite a while and perhaps ever. And this from someone who is not a big romantic comedy fan.

It was shown at the Atlanta Film Festival on 06/16/05 and received an ovation from the audience in attendance.

I also had the opportunity to meet with both Anthony Ng and Michelle Luchise (who played Alma) following a Q & A and both of them were awesome to speak with and on the proverbial level.

I hope this film gets distribution sooner than later as it is the first romantic comedy that I have seen in which I can identify with one of the lead characters (Seth) although I have never met a girl in a laundry mat.

six lonely people meet and their lives intertwine at a café in S:t marks... a love story unlike any other...

Some times you wish a film would never end, sometimes a film hits that certain nerve inside you and just presents you with all that you want to see, and then some... and as cliché this may sound, i found this in 212. The cleverness of the script, and the well casted actors as well as the beautiful photography made this film something worth looking out for...

I caught this film working for the Stockholm international film festival and would probably never have seen it otherwise... one thing's for sure... i want to see it over and over... I must own this film...
