I remember going to see a movie at the cinema around 1989, back in the days when they used to run 'short's before the main movie. So this hilarious mini cartoon about a very dysfunctional family who go to therapy was presented. When they kept zapping each in a shock therapy type machine it was laugh out loud hilarious, especially for me as me & my parents had recently & rather reluctantly attended a family therapy session. I remember telling people i just saw this really amazing funny cartoon, little did i know it would turn into one of the biggest & most popular TV shows of all time. I immediately loved the Simpsons & they have held an important place in my heart ever since. Miss you mum & dad xo.
