Continuity

During Squad 51's second call, one shot shows an older model Dodge rescue truck in transit.
In the first scene, Johnny reminisces with Roy about how Roy invited him to become a paramedic. He says that he was working at Station 8. They cut to the sleeping station, when a call comes in at 1:10AM. After getting dressed and going down the fire pole, Johnny is seen getting into Station 10's Rescue Squad vehicle instead of Station 8's.
As Gage and DeSoto take a moment for coffee at Rampart, DeSoto puts his cup down twice.

Factual errors

When responding to the heart attack victim at the party DeSoto and Gage begin treating him while he is sitting in his chair, even defibrillating him in the chair. But anyone with medical training knows when treating potential cardiac issues you lay the patient flat on their back, this makes defibrillation more easy plus allows them to instantly begin CPR if needed, CPR cannot be done if the patient is sitting, it's only effective if they are laying on a solid, flat surface.
During the heart attack call, Johnny incorrectly reports that the patient had been cardioverted. In ventricular fibrillation the correct term is defibrillated.
When responding to the hunter who fell into a canyon Gage contacts Rampart from their portable radio while in the helicopter, using line-of-sight. However the batteries powering those early portable radios did not have a lot of power, even with direct line-of-sight their range was limited. The radio they use is a Biophone 3502, it transmitted on the UHF band (around 450-470 MHz) and had about 50 watts of power, making it good for transmitting through objects like buildings with a clear signal but its range was limited, in urban environments it was only 2-3 miles, and 5-10 miles at the most with direct line-of-sight; the city of Los Angeles has radio repeater towers set up across the city letting the radio have a much larger range while in the city, but not outside. The closest mountains to LA are the Santa Monica Mountains about 50 miles to the northeast, this is likely where the hunters were as they stated it took 25 minutes by helicopter to reach them, a Bell UH-1 Huey like the helicopter shown here would travel about 52 miles in 25 minutes. Which would put Rampart hospital far out of range of their portable radio.

Crew or equipment visible

As the victim of hyperventilation exits a hospital room and is pushed down the hall in a wheelchair at Rampart General, we see the large boom mic shadow reflection on camera left wall.
