    Rather silly

This episode includes two tropes. First, there is a three-woman team of murderous thieves. The Flash locates them and stops their escape from a crime, leaves them tied up, and the responding officers are then quickly overpowered, allowing their escape.

On the other side, an experiment of the transfer of Alpha waves between Tina and the Flash leaves her waffling between her normal self and a psychotic wacko who eventually joins the thieves.

However, she only joins two thieves, as one was killed in a crash in the car chase after they escaped the officers.

I found the entire episode rather senseless and boring.

In making a getaway, the Black Rose Gang are reported as driving north on Keystone Drive. This is a nod to Keystone City, the home base of the original Golden Age Flash.
    • Quotes

Julio Mendez: So you're on for tomorrow night?

      Barry Allen: Tomorrow night?

Julio Mendez: What is this, a convenient memory lapse? Sabrina's roommate from college, from Chicago?

Barry Allen: Another blind date? Oh, come on, Julio, let's look at the record here. Last month, it was Maxine the manicurist. Topics of conversation were my cuticles and her snow globe collection. Then there was Gwen. Divorced four times in six years.

Julio Mendez: Okay, so she had a run of bad luck.

Barry Allen: Yeah, well so have I, all right? No more reincarnated Babylonian priestesses, no more birthday party clowns.

Julio Mendez: Hey, look, Cookie made real good balloon animals.

Barry Allen: Oh, Cookie! Look, I am not that desperate, all right?
