    Bad Dog

Making Dan Butler (Bulldog) a regular cast member was odd decision. For one thing, he hasn't justified it, making just as many appearances as he did prior to being named as one.

There just isn't that much they could do with the character, or many of the other cast they could pair him with for this to be validated.

What it does mean is that once a series they have an episode centred around him, often pairing him with Frasier.

Unfortunately, this isn't a good episode, showcasing both Bulldog and Dr Crane in not the best light.

    A skippable outing.

    Bulldog to the Rescue

A man with a gun is about to hold up the coffee shop. He is thwarted in some confusion. Everyone thinks Bulldog saved their lives but he acted cowardly, using Roz as a human shield. Soon he is benefiting from his "heroism." Well, this begins to drive Frasier nuts. So he takes action with interesting results.

    • Trivia
Roz complains that she looks like Divine. Divine is the stage name of actor Harris Glenn Milstead, a well-known drag queen who became famous appearing in John Waters films of the 1970s and 80s.
    • Goofs
Frasier never turned around during the attempted robbery, he would've had no way of knowing Bulldog mistook another man taking out a wallet for the man with the gun.
    • Quotes

Daphne: Roz, is everything all right?

Roz: Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that my hair is huge and this dress is a joke.

Frasier: No, nonsense, Roz. You look divine.

Roz: No, I look like Divine.

    • Crazy credits
When the title "Frasier" (in yellow letters) and the usual silhouette of Seattle are on screen, a rain cloud that starts to emit rain appears in the sky.
