    Such a dumb episode

I absolutely hate this episode. The later episodes of the series are too far out sometimes and this one is a perfect example.

Sophia gets sick and so the brilliant idea from Dorothy is to set up this outlandish scheme where Sophia gets a "job" that she doesn't really have-and doesn't get paid for- just so someone can keep an eye on her for a few days. THIS is her solution to caregiving? Give me a break. Did she really think that wasn't going to blow up in everyone's faces? Hell, even Rose could've come up with a better solution. There are some funny lines but overall I can't get past the stupid premise.

    • Quotes

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: You've never told a lie?

Rose Nylund: That's right, I've never told a lie. Well, just once when I snuck out of class to go to the movies.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: That's not much of a lie.

Rose Nylund: That's what I thought. Turned out to be the day they taught everything.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: The final piece of the puzzle.

Rose Nylund: [later] I'm beginning to think Blanche is hung up on her looks.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: Boy, you don't need lightning to strike you.

Rose Nylund: No, thanks. Not again. Once was enough.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: An extra piece of the puzzle.
