Stan sniffs out a cash making opportunity.

Stan is down on his luck, and once again finds himself bankrupt, he breaks the news to Sophia and Blanche at a baseball game. Sophia gets hit on the head by a ball, the accident gives Stan a few ideas about how to make a couple of easy bucks.

Boy, there are some very sharp one liners here, very well written, there are lots of cutting remarks and put downs to enjoy. Poor Rose, once again we get a further insight into her life back in Saint Olaf.

Seeing Rose and Blanche in those cat suits, wow, their figures were fantastic.

Dorothy's efforts to try and prove that Sophia is lying, that was funny, I loved the denial scene too.

It reminds you just how wonderful Estelle Getty was, it wasn't just the way that she delivered her lines, but her physical humour was a joy to watch here, so funny.

    7/10.

    • Trivia
Miami did not have a major league team until 1993.
    • Goofs
Rose heads to her room which is shown in other episodes as down the hall and to the left. Instead, she heads to her immediate right where we know she is simply backstage.
    • Quotes

Rose: [on learning Sophia was not badly injured when hit by a baseball] I knew she'd be OK. Something similar happened to me back in St Olaf: I was injured during a spirited game of Gowhackanoggin'.

Dorothy Zbornak: Should I? Oh, what the hell. Rose, what is Gowhackanoggin'?

Rose: It's a lot like baseball, except instead of hitting a ball, you whack yourself on the head. After ten whacks, if you're still standing, you take first base. It's usually a very low-scoring game.
