    An excellent, moving episode.

Sophia decides to break her friend Lillian out of her new nursing home, an establishment with an even worse reputation than Shady Pines. Blanche gets a bonus at work, and decides to invest in some plastic surgery.

Certainly very funny, definitely topical, was this around the time, 1989 where brest enlargements became quite the done thing to do?

Lots of breast jokes throughout, but of course there's the serious side, and bit does it have a few sobering moments, dementia has been used as a topic once before, and it's used once again here, maybe not as powerful an episode, but definitely another one that hits home.

That scene where the phone was ringing, talk about stressful, how true to life was that.

    8/10.

    • Trivia
When the girls discuss their future, Rose asks, "But what happens when there's only one of us left?" With the death of Rue McClanahan in 2010, White was the last surviving major cast member of the show until her death in 2021. The four cast members are also sitting from left to right in the order that they will have all died with White on the far-right side.
    • Goofs
Dorothy and Sophia complain about the poor condition that nursing home that Lilian is in called Sunny Pastures, and the viewer is supposed to take their word for it. But the nursing home looks clean and the staff seems to care, chasing after a runaway wheelchair with a sleeping senior citizen in it, after Sophia pushes it to distract them as she and Rose help Lilian escape. When Dorothy and Sophia meet with Sunny Pastures manager, he comes across as caring, sensitive and honest, placing the blame on government's budget cuts.
    • Quotes

Rose Nylund: I know, girls. Let's make a pact, that we'll always take care of each other, that we'll never desert each other, no matter what.

Blanche Devereaux: You can count on me, honey.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: Do you think it's gonna be that easy getting rid of me, Rose?

      [Rose looks worried]

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: That was rhetorical, Rose. But what a comforting thought, knowing you'll never be alone.

Blanche Devereaux: And listen, what the hell? If we do go to a nursing home, let's all go together.

Rose Nylund: But what happens when there's only one of us left?
