Housewarming Party

This episode took a while to warm up until it got to Caroline's housewarming party when it really did take off.

Almost everyone from the hospital turns up at the party. Martin hopes he can pull Caroline and not noticing that one of the personel girls actually fancies him.

Caroline gets very drunk and want both Guy and later Mac, she even ends up getting snogged by Sue White who is desperate to get off with Mac.

An off kilter episode but the early part of it was not as funny as the party scenes.

Perfection

Very possibly the best sitcom episode I have ever watched. Riotously, hysterically, unapologetically funny, yet serving up a rich slice of real life at the same time. The effect on the viewer is almost hypnotic, like being transported to an actual party. Great dialog, energetic performances from every single member of the cast, crisp writing and storytelling. The continuous story lines develop very nicely and organically, only this time all the characters - hospital doctors, administrators, nurses - let their hair down and reveal their extra fun, playful, sexy and in some cases devious sides. Sue White in particular is at it again as the pansexual seductress extraordinaire, with just the right whiff of desperation about her. A pure joy to watch, from start to finish.

Trivia
When Martin Dear and Sue White are shopping for Caroline's party, Sue asks if he has a hoodie to which Martin replies "I'm circumcised actually", but the painting Sue does of him in Series 2 clearly isn't.
