Well at least Joanie was cute.

This episode was ok I guess. Fonzie showed his imatureity. One girl like Richie and he acts like a spoiled brat. Jealousy. Shame shame. Joanie shows us some trick riding. And some ass clowns dressed as cowboys make life miserable. And of course the city folk Richie and his gang show how to be a cowboy. Yeah that would never happen.

More padding than on a saddle

This episode was actually taken up with a rodeo. A lot of it performed by the characters, but definitely not by the actors themselves. And it's so obvious that all the horse rodeo scenes in close up are done on a mechanical horse. But a funny scene, in fact the only funny scene has Ralph actually pretending to be riding on that mechanical horse, what they probably used for those close up shots. There is the ridiculousness of Joanie doing difficult horse trick riding (how did she become such a rider? We never heard her ever mention or see her learning to ride back in Milwaukee). But then she's completely terrified when she is on a runway horse cart. But definitely the worse part is Potsie singing a very lame song over a montage. All just for padding when they could have made this just a 2 parter.

    • Goofs
When Fonzie and Richie are chasing after Joanie in the runaway wagon, in the long shots Fonzie (or his stunt double) has a red bandanna pulled up over the bottom half of his face. In close-ups it's tied loosely around his neck.
