    A Hole in the Bucket

The third series of Bergerac sees him lose another girlfriend. Celia Imrie is no longer in the title sequence and Bergerac is now rather close to his ex wife. They are having lunch together when Bergearc receives news that upsets his plans.

Bergerac along with a police officer from London has to babysit a witness from the mainland. Terri Fuller is an important witness in the London crime scene and she has a price on her head. Her whereabouts are in danger of being leaked by someone in the police force.

Terri is not an easy person to mind. A drug addict and she hopes to get money for her story from a journalist.

However Terri finds herself in danger as one of Charlie Hungerford's dodgy friends has spotted her and recognises her. Pretty soon some bad people arrive in Jersey looking for Terri.

The episode should had been more dramatic and exciting. Although there is a nice scene at the end with a light aircraft on the beach being chased down by the Bergerac. It also has a rather cynical ending. A sign that Bergerac is moving to a more grittier direction.
