    Flight from an Empire

Bronco rescues a mother and son -they are refugees from the fallen empire of Emperor Maximilian of Mexico- from bandits- and help them get a place to stay with a rich man called Goddard and his daughter. Goddard, at first, isn't too keen on having them live under his roof but once he tries their cooking he changes his minds. Meanwhile, Bronco soon discovers that bandits, who believe the two know where $5 million in gold is buried, are after them.

Titles, fancy cooking and high living and gold are featured in this fairly lively entry with a nice light touch and humour- it's well-acted by all and it got a young Mary Tyler Moore who plays Goddard's daughter and she's quite charming. Goddard is played by Barry Kelly. Ends with a cliffhanger of sorts on a roof with a dynamite ready to go off while Bronco and the villain fight it out.
