    The Burning Springs

Bronco rides into a town and finds himself confronted by a man - a major for the Union- from his past who shoots him. While testifying at the court martial of the man who tried to kill him, Bronco finds himself reliving his experiences during the Civil War.

Bronco was a captain in the Moccasin Raiders who was assigned the task of destroying oil fields that were guarded by the Snake Hunters led by Stoddard. Bronco was selected to act as a captured Union captain to gain the confidence of Stoddard, help him escape and return to his unit. He relates how he destroyed Stoddard's career and lost the love of his life. But he must resort to a different tactic to clear Stoddard as his current trial.

Berry Krueger as Carl Hugo, a union sympathiser, is one slimy character who suspects that Bronco isn't who he says he is, and he pervs over Suzanne Lloyd's character. He's superb in the role and adds to this rather passable episode that is interesting in regard to Bronco's back story during the war years. A little talky though, but things pick up towards the end.
