Phoebe is worried when her love, Cole stays undercover in a demon Brotherhood, but the danger turns dire when Cole's old mentor plots to bring out his evil side and turn his massive powers against the Charmed Ones.

When the evil leader Raynor knocks Cole out by surprise at the brotherhood's, he scans his humans half's 'infection' with Love. Brother Tarkin wants too kill him, but Raynor decides to use his unique knowledge about the sisters, they just need to turn him back into evil Balthazor and break his love connection. Therefore he orders Cole to get the two halves of a protective amulet and kills the witches himself to make the sisters doubt him; and he has more tricks up his sleeve, in fact no price is too high...—KGF Vissers

While in the line waiting to have their passports, Leo and Piper argue and Piper realizes that her paralyzing power changed to an explosive one. Meanwhile Phoebe is worried with Cole, since he has disappeared for one week. In the Brotherhood of Thorn, Raynor has already disclosed the true love of Cole for Phoebe and he decides to turn him back in Belthazor, killing the love of Phoebe and bringing back his evil side. He assigns Cole to steal two halves of a powerful protective amulet and kill their owners. Cole gets the first half but spares the witch. However, Raynor kills the witch, making the sisters suspicious of Cole. Leo accepts to go on honeymoon with Piper, but at the passport office her freezing power goes out of whack, revealing her yet uncontrolled power to make things explode, alas too demonstratively, so it's up to Leo to return alone later. Priority goes to Cole, whose affliction with the ultimately anti-evil love is detected by his demonic brotherhood of Thorn-chief Raynor, who is determined to combine his closeness to the Charmed Ones with his demonic powers, if he can revive Belthazor's evil nature. To that end, Cole is ordered, unaware he's discovered, to get hold of a powerful pair of protective amulet-halves, each requiring to dispose of a witch. Cole is rebuked for 'negelecting' to kill the first, but as Raynor does so, the Charmed trio gravely doubts his conversion to love, and Raynor tries to bribe him with the sold of his late father, the Source.—KGF Vissers
