Murder Takes the Bus

Murder, She Wrote

Continuity

Don Stroud's character describes being on the CB radio when he was hit from behind during the period that the lights were out, but since the power was out at the time and the shot was fired just before the lights came back on, the power had to have been out while he was supposedly on the CB radio and the radio needed power to operate.
The characters leave the bus under the rain to enter the bar. Once inside, they claim to be soaked through, but most of their coats and jackets are either dry or barely sprinkled - Jessica's coat is dry (she did have an umbrella); Drayson's jacket is only splattered in a few spots in the shoulders, and Amos' cowboy hat is wet only in the top. When Amos takes the hat next to go outside again, though, his hat is wetter than it was when he had hanged it.
As Jessica is looking for her book, she decides to leave the restaurant and check the bus. She pulls on the exit door towards her inside the restaurant, but is the next scene outside the restaurant, shows her leaving with the door opening out.

Revealing mistakes

As the camera pans when Sheriff Tupper announces he is going to make a citizen's arrest, Steve and Jane Pascal is sitting in a booth where Mr. Pascal is leaning against the wall and his wife is leaning on him but after Tupper makes the arrest the camera focuses on the different characters and this time Mrs. Pascal is sitting against the wall and her husband is sitting on the outside of the booth.
The book is supposed to have uncut pages, but this isn't apparent in the prop they used. The book prop also appears to have been made in the mid-20th century or later, decades after books were sold "uncut" (having top or bottom sides of the page that needed to be cut open).
