LA Rams linebacker Deacon Jones guest stars

Felix has a chance to direct a TV commercial with Deacon Jones but Deacon will not appear unless his friend Oscar does it with him.

This a great episode with many funny scenes. Jones is portrayed as a shy quiet man who gets annoyed with overly friendly Felix. Felix tries to bond with Deacon, telling him he understands 400 years of slavery and the busing, it doesn't work. The scenes of the commercial are also very funny.

    • Trivia
In order to get his TV commercial made, Felix needed Oscar's help because Deacon Jones wouldn't talk with any person in everyday life other than Oscar. This was an inside joke, because in real life Jones was one of the more outspoken NFL player personalities, on and off the field.

Felix Unger: How can you wash your face in my kitchen sink?

Oscar Madison: The bathroom sink's broken.

Felix Unger: Oh. Well, at least you could have called for the Super to fix it.

Super: [appearing at the kitchen door] He called the Super. Don't use your bathroom.

Felix Unger: Wait, wait, where are you going?

Super: It's dinner time. Even a Super has to eat.

Felix Unger: What - what about our bathroom?

Super: Don't use it for anything.

      Felix Unger: For anything?

      Super: My very words!

Felix Unger: What should we use?

      Super: Improvise.
