    An obvious reference

Totally slapstick reference to the X-Files. The "I believe" t-shirt, the oddballs seeing a real piece of UFO metal, the fondue diner,....all of it...

    Fun!

Whats wrong with a little fun? Dont understand all the negativity.

Sometimes we all take ourselves way to seriously, its nice to have a little levity in this series that i love. This little snippet is like a fun little candy in a big box of dark chocolates.

One Of The Worst I've Seen

I watched all episodes of the original program and am in process of watching all episodes of this one. This episode is by far, about the worst in all of them. To me it seems they are attempting (not succeeding) at dramady. Falls short.

The target of the quest seems to be making fun of those who believe in having had an alien encounter. Poorly done, very poorly done.

The plot is a good start and could have really made a great show. The acting was acceptable. This episode seemed to veer from what had been established as good to excellent quality into a try for a different genre altogether. There were too many plot twists and turns to lock the viewer in and allow them to evolve with the story to its climatic end.

When I watch or read something, I want to feel as if it has happened or could happen. This made me want to shut the program off.

One of the best Outer Limits episodes ever.

Full of plot twists and suspense, why can't all (New) Outer Limits be this good? Had me watching intently 'till the end. Unlike many others that seem to be favors to sci-fi big wigs and fall flat. By the way, I believe! So anyways, I gotta sit here and fill out ten lines for some reason even though the episode clearly can speak for itself, so here's some random quote to complete my review. Thanks!

No mirror ever became iron again; No bread ever became wheat; No ripened grape ever became sour fruit. Mature yourself and be secure from a change for the worse. Become the light.

Only from the heart Can you touch the sky.

Patience is the key to joy.

People of the world don't look at themselves, and so they blame one another.

Since in order to speak, one must first listen, learn to speak by listening.

That which is false troubles the heart, but truth brings joyous tranquility.

The intelligent want self-control; children want candy.

The middle path is the way to wisdom.

The only lasting beauty is the beauty of the heart.

Thirst drove me down to the water where I drank the moon's reflection.

To praise is to praise how one surrenders to the emptiness.

    >>>>>>>>>Peace.

    Whose Planet Is It Anyway?

What a messed up episode. It's not that the setup wasn't good. It had some funny characters, representatives at a convention of people who had been abducted by aliens. Collin Mochery, the improvisational comedian, holds forth with Mackenzie Phillips, as they seem the sane ones in a mad house of paranoia. Everything gets going when a real outer space device is brought out. Suddenly, people are dying and fears that the FBI or some other government organization is behind the deaths become the center of the whole thing. Let's face it. It is uneven, scattershot, endless, and dull. Yes, as one person said, there are some interesting lines delivered, but they don't make up for this tiresome melange.
