MOVING STORY WITH AN UNPREDICTABLE ENDING

A group of young people are spending time on a farm, suddenly one of the girls starts having contractions, a mysterious figure appears to assist her in childbirth, once the baby is born, confusion takes over everyone who does not seem to understand what it is. What is happening. Then we see that this group of humans are imprisoned inside the farm surrounded by a force field and alien creatures take over the newborn. The mother convinces her partner to leave the place and head towards an obelisk where they suppose her baby is, despite knowing the risk they would run when crossing a jungle populated by strange and dangerous creatures. Of course the ending is heartwarming and unpredictable and the episode unfolds as one big and terrifying adventure of the couple trying to get their baby back. An excellent episode.

    The Mother of Us All

Sometimes these offerings get a little bit maudlin. This may be one of them. Still, we root for the confused characters as they make their way through a living hell. The story begins with the birth of a baby two a couple of young adults, living in a kind of commune, presided over by an alien "Mother." When the child is born, there is utter confusion. The new mother, with the child, are taken to the "obelisk." The baby is left in the care of other aliens and the mother returned. She implores her young partner to go on a search mission to retrieve the child. They manage to disengage the force field and head off through the woods. In the woods are horrible snakes with lamprey heads that bite and leave a kind of stinger that moves through the body. The girl is bitten but her young associate manages to cut out the invading stinger. She limps her way and they finally get to the obelisk (which appears to be a lighthouse) and set out to capture the baby. What ensues is a very satisfying conclusion, explaining why things have evolved the way they have. It's quite a creative effort.
