    Pete, accused of murder

There is a sad irony to this episode of "Petrocelli". Petrocelli's assistant, Pete (Albert Salmi) has been accused of murder and it's up to the lawyer to determine the truth. The irony is that years later, Salmi and his wife were found dead and it was ruled that Salmi killed his wife and then himself. Very, very sad....that's for sure and similar to the way Gig Young died.

The show begins with a lady nearly being run over by a maniac in a car. It's clearly NOT accidental. Later, when the lady confronts her ex-, he talks as if it was him in the car...and it's likely he was. Well, the woman has been seeing Pete...and Pete is angry and confronts the husband later. The guy apparently threw a punch...and Pete decked him. Later, the man is found dead and it appears as if Pete's punch is responsible. So it's up to Petrocelli AND his fists to beat the truth out of someone to get to the truth! Yes...I actually mean that.

This is a decent episode and it was obvious that the production staff of this show were trying to inject more action into the show since so many earlier episodes relied on folks confessing on the witness stand or Petrocelli introducing reasonable doubt.
