    They're Off

Please Sir! returns for a new term and this time it is in colour. Some of the pupils now look even older.

The school has been redecorated apart from Mr Hedges classroom. Mr Turner decorates the class as Hedges teaches 5C applied maths.

Mr Turner is impressed with Hedges knowledge and passes some tips on horses. Class 5C are a natural when maths is turned into betting odds. They even make a few bob betting on the horses.

A good performance from Geoffrey Hughes as Mr Turner as the decorator. He even puts Potter down a peg or two.

Not sure why Hedges thought that the bookies would take the winnings back but it led to a few amusing jokes.
