    Murder at Moorstones Manor

A parody of Agatha Christie. A wealthy, eccentric family of looney tunes. A big mansion, a servant and people dying.

Car obsessed Hugo is visiting Moorstones Manor for his father's birthday. Father is obsessed with war stories and thrashing people. Over the course of dinner several people drop dead, brother Charles is the likely suspect. He is forever holding a gun that seems to go off and is keen on having the will read.

Murder at Moorstones Manor gets farcical and ever so absurd as it goes along. The cast takes it ever so seriously which makes it deliciously fun.

    • Trivia
The scene involving the Jehovah's Witnesses (played by Barbara New and Gilly Flower) was broadcast in the original transmission of this episode in October 1977 but was removed from the transmission when repeats of this episode were broadcast later. The DVD shows the shorter/cropped version of the episode but gives viewers the chance to watch this dropped scene, as well as others, separately, in a special four-minute bonus feature entitled The Mystery of the Missing Morsel of Murder at Moorstones Manor (2004).
    • Goofs
